1. What we store
To improve SkillFrog, we save your generated skill and your answers to the clarifying questions by default. We rely on our legitimate interest in improving the product, and you can opt out before generating using the checkbox shown on the questions screen — if you do, your skill and answers are not stored. We do not store your raw transcript, and your API keys are kept only in your browser, never on our servers.
We never use customer content to train AI models. Aggregated and anonymized usage data may also be used to improve SkillFrog.
2. What we collect
- Anonymized events: skill category, counts, ratings (always).
- Your generated skill and answers: saved by default to improve the product; opt out anytime. We do not store the raw transcript.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe; we do not see your card details.
- Basic technical data (e.g. IP for rate-limiting), not used to profile you.
3. Sub-processors
We share data as needed with: Anthropic and OpenAI (AI processing of your input), Supabase (database hosting), Stripe (payments), and [HOSTING PROVIDER, e.g. Vercel] (hosting). Each processes data under their own terms.
4. Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. under GDPR in the EU/UK or CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to processing. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise any right, email [SUPPORT EMAIL].
5. Data retention
Anonymized analytics are kept to improve the product. Opt-in stored inputs are kept until you request deletion. Stripe retains payment records as required by law.
6. International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards.
7. Children
SkillFrog is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EU).
